The NSW Government has committed $1.3 billion to build a new state-of-the-art Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital on a new site. The new hospital will transform the delivery of healthcare for the local community and its surrounding suburbs. The project will include contemporary purpose-built facilities for emergency medicine, surgical services, and critical care, and expanded and integrated ambulatory care services, including cancer treatment and community health services.
This project is being planned in partnership with Health Infrastructure and South Western Sydney Local Health District.
The site selection process has now commenced, and the NSW Government is seeking an appropriate location for the new hospital.
